We as Americans face a major crises today.  A crises more horrible than terrorism, more horrible than violent crime, more horrible than global warming.  This crises is called liberalism and socialism. 

Today we are faced with having to choose the lesser evil of two very substandard presidential candidates.  We have a liberally controlled, which has done basically nothing for 2 years but pat themselves on the backs and change the menus in the cafeterias at the Capitol.  We are in big trouble folks, and the outlook isn't very bright.

Among the presidential candidates, John McCain is an exceedingly weak candidate for the Republican party.  He seems to not be able to figure out who he is, or what he's for or against.  Barack Hussein Obama, the presumed Democrat nominee is fairly certain of what he wants to accomplish, at least when his teleprompter is working when he's giving a speech. 

What we have here is the most liberal candidates that either party has ever seen, when we come right down to it.  Pretty much the only thing that will save the country will be to elect more conservative candidates for Congress this year.  We need someone that is willing to stop the carnage that both presidential candidates have planned for this country. 

Shame on the Republicans for nominating such a liberal, wishy-washy candidate.  I guess the country gets what it deserves though. 

Let's hope that some voters have a little more intellect than the liberal idiots that populate most of the broadcast media.  Let's stop this trend to making the United States of America the Socialist States of America?

It will happen if we have the idiots in politics and in the media have free run of the country.  Vote for conservatives, and let's take the country back from the socialists.

The mainstream media makes it very simple to figure out who we, or more importantly, who YOU are.  If you vote for a Republican, you are a racist, sexist, gun loving, warmongering bigot who hates the thought of teenagers having sexual relations without consequences.  You also love Jesus way to much, and that's a big problem, because you don't love Muslims.  You are rich, and hate your unfortunate neighbors, and will squeeze a penny until it bleeds, and you never help the homeless, and you drive huge polluting SUVs.  According to the mainstream media, you also club baby seals, harpoon whales, and drill for oil, killing millions of innocent owls.

If you are a Christian, you are the reason the Muslims hate us, and the reason why the USA is hated so much by the rest of the world.  We all know what a peaceful religion Islam is.  Your religious beliefs are dangerous, and you should be persecuted by all means.  America was founded on the principles of free speech and all the founding fathers were Athiest Muslim Liberals who ran away from Europe to found a new country so they could find new reasons to spend your tax dollars.  That's basically what the mainstream media tries to pound into our heads on a daily basis.

According to the mainstream media, if you own a gun, you are the prime reason for all violent crime, all over the world.  Your gun will kill unknown thousands, maybe millions of innocent people, especially if your gun catches them breaking into your house.  If you own a gun, you misunderstood the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution, because we all know that only militias, which are also bad, can possess guns.  If you hunt or fish, you are a murderer.  If you believe the mainstream media, fish feel one million times more pain by being caught with a hook than any human mother experiences from childbirth.  According to the mainstream media, cutting your grass or grilling outdoors causes millions of icebergs to melt, which will cause the world to end in approximately 12 years.  The earth is heating up at an alarming rate, and the record snowfalls in the northern US and Canada are just more proof of Global Warming.  According to the mainstream media, the sky is literally falling, each and every day, and it's all YOUR fault.

According to the mainstream media, if you vote Democrat, then you are an enlightened, intelligent, open minded overall great person.  But let's see what happens if you vote for one presidential candidate or another.

If you vote for Hillary Clinton, you are a racist.  How could anyone not vote for the black guy unless they are racist?  According to some in the mainstream media, Hillary doesn't make 'thrills' go up men's legs, and she sometimes looks tired.  Sometimes she even looks, God forbid, old.  Voting for Hillary is definitely racist. 

If you vote for Barack Obama, you are sexist.  How can you vote for man when you've got the world's smartest woman running for President?  If you vote for Barack, you are an elitist, and furthermore, Barack lacks the 30 years of experience that Hillary has for the job.  After all, the mainstream media says that since Hillary lived in the White House for 8 years, that makes her infinitely more qualified than Barak.  Hillary was under enemy sniper fire in Eastern Europe.  She said she was.  It must be true.  Even if it's not true, one thing that the mainstream media has taught us since the early 1990's is that lying is ok, because everyone does it, and it's not big deal if the President does too, unless he's a Republican.

According to the mainstream media, whoever you are, you're not important.  You must have an Obama or a Clinton to make all your decisions for you.  The reason is because you are not smart enough to manage your own life, and therefore you need someone with the lifetime of experience that Clinton or Obama have.  If you disagree with the mainstream media's assessment of your miserable life, then you are hopelessly closed minded, and probably read extreme right wing websites like the Drudge Report, or watch the terribly right wing Fox News channel.  According to the mainstream media, you are expendable, and there is no reason not to raise your taxes to the point that you starve to death. 

According to the mainstream media, Chris Matthews and Keith Olberman are much smarter than you.  So is Al Franken, and Al Gore.  Bill Clinton is the smartest man in the universe, except when he disagrees with his wife. 

The mainstream media knows who you are.  If you don't live in New York or Los Angeles, or San Francisco, or Washington, DC, you are most likely a gun toting bubba driving around in a pickup truck, with no teeth, and no brains.

The mainstream media obviously knows what they're doing, don't they?  They're the experts, and they tell you what they believe you should know. 

It's for your own good.

To the federal government.  At last count, somewhere close to 50% of all Americans will vote for whomever wins the Democratic Party nomination.  What do Democrats stand for?  Let's see.

1. Raise taxes.  This is always the Democrat's way to fix all problems.  How many have problems have raising taxes actually solved?  About zero.

2. Peace at all costs.  Terrorists would be our friends if we just talked to them.  That's basically what both Democrat's are saying, when you come right down to it.

3. Increase the power of the UN over the USA.  World government is still in vogue, and the Democrats are all for it.  Less power for the people means more power for the Democrats.

4.  Continue to fine tune the education of our children.  Democrats repeatedly believe it is better for our children to feel better about themselves than it is to actually learn anything about how to read, write, perform math problems, understand science, or reason effectively.

5. Christians are evil.  We keep hearing this in the Main Stream Media daily, so it must be true.  Christians are the root of all evil in this world, and Muslims are to be treated with respect.  The peaceful religion exhibited by the Muslims in this world must be respected at all costs, while Christians are absolute animals.  All Christians are suspect and are probably child molesters or murderers, according to the average Democrat politician.

6. Vote Democrat because it uplifts the African Americans.  This has been rammed down our throats for about 40 years now by the MSM, and unfortunately there are still African Americans who believe it.  Some don't, but many do.  Many African Americans have discovered that they have been held basically in slavery by voting for Democrats over the last 40 years.

So the esteemed Eric Alterman claims that "Jesus was a Liberal".  Let's examine that.

If Jesus was liberal, why is his name basically not allowed in any public school in America?

If Jesus was liberal, what would he have to say about abortion?

If Jesus was liberal, what would he say about Alterman's comment "You don't take orders from God."

If Jesus was liberal, why did he have a job and listened to God?

If Jesus was liberal, why is his name used as a the beginning of "jokes' to so many present day liberals?

Think about it.

To me, it has nothing to do with party, it's all about your ideals. These days, Republicans can be conservative or liberal.  I don't give a fig for a Republican who votes for or supports liberals.  A liberal is a liberal, no matter what party name they use.

I will only vote for conservatives, and I have a ton of reasons for that.  I anyone else out there is actually a conservative, you already know my reasons.  I don't see the need to reiterate them here.  Either you believe in your country, or you don't.  It's very simple folks.

If you are thinking of voting for either Obama or Clinton, then you most likely believe that all our country's problems can be solved through more government interaction with it's citizens.  I happen to believe the opposite.

I know this gets said pretty much every 2 years, but I think this might be the most critical election I've ever voted in.  I'm 44 years old, and I've voted in several now.  It's not just the presidential election, because it looks like unless a miracle happens, there will be a liberal in the White House in 2009.  I suppose I'll vote for McCain, but then again, if there is a viable third party candidate, I'll probably not vote for McCain.

The real fight that conservatives need to win is in the House and Senate, and in the state and local elections.  This country is in large part conservative, I believe, but for the most part we are being represented by professional politicians who don't care about much of anything except getting re-elected.  American is standing on a precipice, and now is when we have to take back our streets, our schools, our law enforcement departments, our city and county and state governments.  Those of us who believe in values such as self reliance and protecting our borders need to step it up a notch.  We can't leave it to our neighbors to do our jobs for us.  We need to vote, but we need to carefully research whom we vote for.

In this internet age, there is more and more information available about the candidates.  Most of them, even on a local level have web sites.  We need to take the time and look at as much information as we can digest and vote with care.  I'm tired of seeing RINO's (Republicans In Name Only) and CINO's (Conservatives In Name Only) elected to office, only to buy into liberal scams as a way of becoming popular with the media or the liberals themselves.  In my opinion there is nothing wrong with partisan politics when it means choosing between right and wrong.  Washington D.C. seems to eventually pollute the minds and morals of even the most honest politicians, and I believe we need to keep that in mind before we vote for an incumbent again.  Case in point:  Lindsay Graham used to be my Congressman here in South Carolina, and I thought he did a great job.  I voted for him when he ran for Senate, but I'll not be voting for Senator Graham again.  Graham has bought into the John McCain theory of compromise politics, and I now find it hard to believe that he ever was a true conservative.

Schools are a particularly important issue in my opinion.  Our government run schools are doing a very poor job of educating our children, and the problem grows worse every single year.  I'm not blaming the teachers, because most of them seem to be at least competent in their jobs.  I do blame administrators though, for allowing our children to be fed a liberal agenda that just gets worse every day.  There are some exceptions, but even here in the red state of SC, we have many liberals in high powered positions in education.  I've seen some great teachers, and I've seen some who basically just try to keep the kids busy enough to behave, without really teaching them anything.  I've seen administrators who felt that teaching political correctness was more important than teaching math, or English, or history, or science.  I've asked 16 and 17 year old kids, who made really good grades, to point out to me on a map of the world the location of the United States, or on a map of the US, where South Carolina was.  A disturbing number of them didn't have a clue.  On the US map, I was as likely to see fingers pointing at Oklahoma as I was to see them pointing to any state in the southeast.  I've asked some of these same students what a preposition was, and probably half thought it was a legal term, not a term having anything to do with grammar.  By the time I got around to math, well, they were pretty bored.

The point I'm trying to make is that our children will one day be voters, and with such a poor education, how can they be expected to make wise decisions when it comes to pulling the lever?  When your average 18 year old doesn't know the difference between the 100 Years War and World War II, how will they have a clue as to who is more qualified to defend the country?  Apparently an 18 year old is considered old enough to have a job and pay the government a lot of their hard earned money in taxes, but they aren't deserving of a proper education.  Education must be a priority, or this country will simply cease to exist as we know it now.

This year, state and local elections are very important.  It might be time to tune out all the rhetoric that will be spewing from the mouths of McCain, Clinton, and Obama, and start listening to what the local politicians are saying.  We need to start taking the country back from the liberals, city by city, county by county, and state by state.  It all starts at home.

Democrats, acting as the mouthpiece of Islamic terrorist groups, gladly sound the alarm.  The Christians are coming!  The Conservatives are coming!  Christians and Conservatives will rape your wives, husbands and children!  Help!

As usual, the Main Stream Media continues to hype up the bloated thoughts of the Leftists in this country.  CNN and MSNBC continue to spin the comments of Jeremiah Wright as acceptable, when, in actuality, it's racist, anti-American pap.  The MSM continues to spin B. Hussein Obama as the savior that he clearly is not.  He's a savior only for hatred.  If you want America to be consumed by hatred, then Barry is your man.

Meanwhile, other Democrats attempt to ignore the entire racist deal.  They blame Fox news for over hyping what has to be seen as nothing but a minor blurp in a brilliant campaign by Obama.  Democrats have long accused Republicans and Conservatives of being racist, but I've not heard the utter hatred and racism espoused by the former Obama adviser since I was about 6 years old.  As has been true in this country for 30 plus year, the true racists are not the Republicans, but the left leaning Democrats, with their open support of racist warlords such as the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, the Reverend Jesse Jackson, and the most upright Al Sharpton.  These people are not about change, they want to keep the black race down in America.  They want them to keep hating white people, because hatred for these people equals power.

We already know that liberals hate all religion.  In their minds, people should never have to pay for their sins. People should never have to atone for their mistakes.  In this liberal wasteland that America has become, there is not love.  There is only more hatred.  Hand it to Liberalism.  It's the quickest way to anarchy.

Liberals hate America for a variety of reasons.  Everyone of them hates this country completely.  Keep that in mind when you pull the lever this November.

First of all, I am a 44 year old computer hardware professional by trade.  I have been a conservative my entire adult life, and am not a member of any political party.

I do not contribute to any political campaigns or candidates.  I figure that if I ever meet a political candidate that I truly believe in, I will contribute to his or her campaign.  So far I've never met a candidate personally that I would give money to.

I voted for Reagan twice.  Ronald Reagan was the greatest president in my lifetime, in my opinion.  As for the current presidential campaign, I suppose I will vote for McCain, but not because I really want to.  He's just a better choice to run the country than Obama or Clinton, both of whom I'm quite certain are capable of destroying this nation.
